Terms of service

The rules for using Ghana TradeLink.

Operator and scope

These terms describe use of Ghana TradeLink, operated by JOYKSMERCADO ENTERPRISE in Kumasi, Ghana. The service provides B2B marketplace, business-record and delivery-coordination tools. Independent sellers supply listed goods and independent riders perform agreed delivery services.

Age and community rules

The service is intended for people aged 16 and over. Users must meet the legal and provider eligibility requirements for transactions, regulated services and delivery driving. Before posting in the community, accept the community rules. Scams, harassment, hate speech, sexual or violent content, illegal activity and disclosure of private information are prohibited.

Accounts and listings

Provide accurate business and contact information, use an account you are authorised to manage and protect your login. Sellers must describe goods, units, prices, availability and condition accurately, have the right to sell them and meet applicable product and business requirements. Platform access or listing approval is not certification by a government regulator.

Planned Ghana Card verification

We plan to introduce Ghana Card identity verification to help protect users and investigate fraud. This integration is not currently active, and an account or listing approval must not be interpreted as official Ghana Card verification.

Before activation, we will explain which account roles or features require verification, the information requested, the authorised verification provider, applicable charges if any, and the review and correction process. Official registry checks will depend on an authorised service and applicable requirements. A card image or manual document review alone does not confirm authenticity or a match with official registry records.

No new live selfie or face-verification requirement is introduced by these terms. Any future biometric feature would require a separate notice and applicable permissions before use. Identity and incident records may be supplied to law enforcement only through an authorised process; a failed check or tracking warning alone is not proof of fraud or theft. See our privacy policy for data handling.

Orders and availability

Read the seller details, quantities, minimum order, goods price and delivery quote before ordering. An order request, quotation or payment attempt is not a guarantee of stock or successful payment. Paid orders require physical supplier verification before rider dispatch. Sellers are responsible for fulfilling the items they approve.

Payments and platform charges

Live payments depend on merchant activation and provider availability; Paystack processes supported payments and payouts when the service is available. Do not treat test transactions as payments. The platform’s goods commission is 2% of the goods subtotal, deducted from the supplier’s settlement. The platform allocation of the baseline delivery fee is 20%, with 80% allocated to the rider. A higher accepted rider bid may create a separately disclosed balance payable to the rider at delivery. Any additional buyer charge must be disclosed before payment.

Platform transaction balances record settlement and payout activity; they are not advertised as a bank account or a regulated escrow product. Payment-provider approval and operating arrangements govern live collection and disbursement. Do not use the service to deposit unrelated funds.

Delivery, cancellation and returns

Our delivery policy and returns and refund policy explain charges, handover checks and cancellation handling. Keep your private handover code confidential until goods are received and checked. Contact support for disputes rather than arranging an unconfirmed return.

Acceptable use

Do not publish fraudulent listings, unlawful goods, abusive content or another person’s private information, impersonate users, manipulate payments or misuse access to the service. We may restrict an account or listing while reviewing suspected misuse and transaction disputes. Reports are reviewed; a tracking warning alone is not a finding of theft.

Records and service limits

Keep copies of important receipts and order records. Availability can be affected by connectivity and third-party services. We do not promise uninterrupted service or verified identity for every trader. Nothing in these terms removes rights or obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Questions and disputes

Contact us first through Help & requests, Joyk01619@gmail.com or +233 55 500 0835, stating the order reference and issue. The service operates in Ghana and these terms are subject to applicable Ghanaian law.

Account deactivation and refund reserve

Account deactivation requires administrative approval. You must retain GH₵100 when submitting a request. While review is pending, that amount is reserved for outstanding refunds, including refunds owed to delivery riders; the balance above it may be withdrawn when live withdrawals are available. New trading pauses and listings are hidden during review. The reserve is released after all required refunds are approved and settled and outstanding transactions, withdrawal requests and wallet holds are cleared. You may then withdraw the remaining balance. Administration finalizes deactivation only after your wallet is zero and no obligations remain. Deactivation does not erase transaction, refund or review records.

Business registration document review

Optional business document review: A business-documents-reviewed badge is granted only after administrative review of submitted registration details and documents. It is not an official government registry verification or a guarantee of identity, stock, delivery or trading performance. Updating a submission removes its badge until reviewed again. Administration may reject or revoke approval and records its review findings.

Direct fulfilment and listing promotion

Businesses may choose direct payment and their own riders for new enquiries. Buyers must agree payment, fulfilment and any refund directly with the supplier; Ghana TradeLink does not collect those funds or apply its delivery commission to that arrangement. Existing platform orders retain their original terms. Optional listing promotion costs GHS 80 per listing for 30 days, starting only after verified live payment. Approved promoted listings are labelled Sponsored and appear ahead of standard listings within relevant search, category and location results. Several sponsored listings may share priority placement. Promotion does not guarantee sales, exclusive first position or automatic renewal. Retailers and distributors may publish and edit their own listings. Listings and community content remain subject to moderation. Contact support for payment errors, promotion disputes or refund requests.
